DBS Checks for Healthcare Workers

Agency healthcare workers who live in England and Wales are obligated to have a valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate to submit to our compliance teams. You can upload your update service registered DBS to Staff Shift or start your application now. If you live in Scotland, you will have to follow the manual Disclosure Scotland process.

If you are registered with Mayfair Specialist Nurses, contact our Compliance team to inquire if your DBS is still valid.

Request a basic DBS check via Staffshift

1. Log on to www.staffshift.com. Your username will be your email address and password. Click login.

2. On your left sidebar menu bar, click on A24 Group DBS

  • Profile

  • A24 Group DBS

3. Your DBS Overview will open.

4. Read the CRB Disclaimer and mark ‘YES’ to continue.

5. Select English as your Language.

6. Click on Convictions and follow the instructions from there. Remember to save each page.

7. In conclusion, ensure you verify all the information on the Summary and Declaration page, please make sure all the information is correct before you click the ‘yes’ box and save.

8. Select the ‘Pay Now’ radio button.

9. PayPal web page will open, you will receive two blocks:

  • First block: If you have an existing PayPal account click on the first block and log into PayPal and complete the payment via your registered PayPal account.

  • Second block: If you do not have a PayPal account clink on the 2nd block which says "Don't have a Paypal account"

10. Fill in all your details - Card number, address etc then click continue and follow the instructions from there.

Once you have completed your DBS Check and received your certificate, please send it to our compliance team email: compliance@a24group.com
